About
I'm originally from the Hudson Valley area in upstate New York where I attended SUNY Morrisville and graduated in 2007 with a degree in Application Software Development. After graduation I moved to Washington DC initially taking a job at a website design firm. Throughout high school and college I worked a mix of freelance projects and internships related to web and software development.
Currently I work for a science related nonprofit that deals mostly with storing seismic data for researchers to access and also helping students complete seismology related research.
When I'm not behind a computer screen I'm usually out running, skateboarding, snowboarding, biking, or writing about web development.
I do take on occasional freelance work depending on the project. I'm looking to take on small focussed projects. For example, you need a form coded, a bug fixed, or a layout sliced would be projects I would take on. Putting your website on a CMS, designing a shopping cart, or designing a website from scratch would be examples of projects I would not be interested in. A good rule for this is anything that will be less than 15 hours of work. Contact me if your interested in any freelance work and I can give you an estimate.
